Prompting = Invitation

While approaching a red light she noticed a man with a walking stick along the side of the road. He was not holding a cardboard sign. He was not approaching stopped vehicles. One driver rolled down his window and offered some cash. She was prompted to look in her wallet for cash to give him as well. She caught his eye, rolled down her window and reached for his hand. She held it for a moment, looked him in the eye and said, "God bless you." His face changed from one of downcast and vulnerable to one of joy with a twinkle to the eyes as he responded with, "God bless you too! And thank you for warming my hand for me." If she had ignored the prompting she would have missed the warming of her own heart.
